HELPING PEOPLE IN ST. LOUIS AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS SOLVE DEBT PROBLEMS FOR OVER 35 YEARS

EXPERIENCED & PROFESSIONAL BANKRUPTCY ATTORNEYS

BANKRUPTCY IS OUR PRIMARY PRACTICE

We are bankruptcy attorneys!  Meaning bankruptcy law is our primary practice.  Bankruptcy is a federal court proceeding that has real life consequences, and bankruptcy law is much more complicated than it seems.  It is important that you choose to work an attorney who has  experience practicing bankruptcy law.  Lawyers are not required to learn bankruptcy in law school and bankruptcy is not on the bar exam.  Real experience cannot be stressed enough!  You want an attorney who specializes in bankruptcy law, just like you'd want an attorney who specializes in personal injury law if you were hurt in an accident.

Our law firm files hundreds of chapter 7 and chapter 13 bankruptcies each year.   We have decades of experience.  We know the law and the process.  We can explain to you exactly how a bankruptcy will work for you based on your unique circumstances - your income, your debts, etc.

OUR PRICES ARE LOWER & OUR SERVICES ARE BETTER

We are a small firm, so we are able to offer lower prices than most other St. Louis area bankruptcy firms.  We have not raised our prices in 10 years.  We charge the same price for every client.  We charge the same price whether filing a bankruptcy for an individual or for a married couple, there is no extra cost to file as a couple.  We may even reduce our rates in certain chapter 13 cases for clients with social security or disability incomes.

Although our prices are competitive we do not sacrifice quality of service.  We walk you through the process from start to finish and do 99% of the work for you.  There are no packets to fill out, no paperwork for you to prepare.  We personally ask you all of the questions, we write your answers, and we prepare all of your paperwork.  Your job is to answer our questions honestly and provide the documents we ask you for - paystubs, taxes, bank statements, copies of certain bills, etc.

When you call our office you will speak with an attorney, and when you come in you will sit down with an attorney.  We can probably answer most of your questions over the phone, and we'd be happy to!

KIMBER H. BARO, ATTORNEY AT LAW

For over 35 years Kimber H. Baro has been dedicated to helping people with financial difficulties and emergencies get the relief they need.  She has represented thousands of individuals and married couples in chapter 7 and chapter 13 bankruptcies.  She is a well respected lawyer in the field, knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to reach.  Helping people file bankruptcy to eliminate their debts and save their homes, their cars, and their livelihoods is her passion!

Kimber received her law degree (Juris Doctor), cum laude, from St. Louis University School of Law in 1984, and her undergraduate degree with honors from Valparaiso University in 1981.  Kimber has been practicing bankruptcy law since 1988.  From 2000 to 2014 Kimber was a partner in a law firm that specialized in bankruptcy law.  In 2014 she formed her own bankruptcy law firm, Baro Law Firm.  She is a frequent speaker and lecturer at bankruptcy education seminars for the Missouri Bar and the United States Bankruptcy Court.  She is a member of the Missouri Bar, the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA), and is licensed to practice law in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.

The majority of bankruptcies she files are for residents of St. Louis City, St. Louis County,

St. Charles County, and Jefferson County.  She also files bankruptcies, albeit less frequently due to geography, for residents of Franklin, Lincoln, Warren, Montgomery, Pike, Ralls, and all other northern counties that hold court in Hannibal.  If you live in any of these counties, and can meet in person at her office a minimum of two times, for a consultation and a signing, she can file your bankruptcy.  Her office is conveniently located in Florissant, Missouri, on N Hwy 67 (aka N Lindbergh Blvd) just south of the intersection of Lindbergh and New Florissant Road, directly across the street from the Florissant Police Department and right next door to Cugino's Italian Bar & Grill.  See Google map for directions.
